Job Description

Controls Engineer - Alarms Hertfordshire6 Month£300- 350 Per Day Umbrella Advantage Resourcing is with a large known company who is upgrading their COMAH facility and now have an opportunity for a Controls Engineer to support their site in completing an alarms rationalisation programme to meet EEMUA 191 requirements.This role will focus on Alarm Management, this is an EHS Critical task where you will be supporting alarm management and reduction of nuisance alarms.Your will need to have the below experience to apply

  • Experience with Alarm Management
  • knowledge and understanding of Instrumentation & Process Control
  • Engineering degree, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical, Control or Instrumentation
  • Industrial work experience ideally within a chemical industry or similar
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Ability to program PLC (Allen Bradley, Omron)
  • Experience with SCADA packages.
  • Experience working with computer applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives
  • Strong Oral and Written communication skills
