Job Description

Controls Engineer Alarm ManagementHertfordshire6 Month£350- 370Advantage Resourcing is with a large known company who is upgrading their COMAH facility and now have an opportunity for a Controls Engineer to support their site upgrade. lasting 18 months plus.NON-SMOKING SITEYour will need to have the below experience to apply

  • knowledge and understanding of Instrumentation & Process Control
  • Engineering degree, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical, Control or Instrumentation
  • Industrial work experience ideally within a chemical industry or similar
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Ability to program PLC (Allen Bradley, Omron)
  • Experience with SCADA packages. ( Wonderware)
  • Awareness of Alarm Management
  • Awareness of EEMUA 191 Regulations
  • Experience working with computer applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives
  • Strong Oral and Written communication skills
This role is part of the Alarm Management, this is an EHS Critical task, supporting alarm management and reduction of nuisance alarms.WORK ENVIRONMENTYour normal working environment will be office based.
