Job Description

Manpower UK are proud to be working with a exciting Manufacturing business based in Royston to recruit for a Compliance Manager. The business are at the forefront of designing and manufacturing new products and technologies that are currently being soldin over 50 countries worldwide.As the Compliance Manager, you will be joining a business that are leading the way in turning scientific discoveries in to the world leading edge technologies. With the products being used in an Chemical, Pharmaceutical and biology industries.This is a brand new position, due to the increased productivity and our clients plans to create new products launching in 2022! This is an exciting time to join this business! You will be responsible for all aspects of all the companys legal and regulatorycompliance and performance.Benefits:

The company has great benefits and a chance for a excellent career progression. So what are they looking for in youDuties:
  • Own and manage the regulatory and safety provisions affecting the Companys product range, for example Machinery Directives, CE and ad hoc international compliance
  • Identify new international standards relevant to the Company and implement accordingly.
  • Improve, maintain and manage the existing Quality Management System and Company Operational Handbook
  • Work with a range of external consultants with specific domain knowledge in key areas.
Experience:
  • Experience within a similar position from a manufacturing environment
  • Expertise and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Qualifications or experience in internal auditing relevant to ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO45001, ISO 27001.
  • Proven history of compliance to UK OHS Law including but not limited to: HASWA, MHSWR, COSHH, PUWER, LOLER, Pressure Safety Systems, DSE, First Aid, Ionising Radiations, RIDDOR, PPE, REACH, Fire Safety Reform.
  • A good understanding of other Standards relating to Business Continuity, GDPR, Environment (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 22301).
