We are looking for a Cleanroom Technician to join a world-class team R&D team based in South Cambridgeshire, right on the border of Hertfordshire.As an experienced Technician, youll be working in a multi-disciplinary environment on ground-breaking and life-changing innovations, so its a really exciting company to be part of! Relocation assistance is also available if you should need it.The Role:* Up to 80% cleanroom based, working on high-tech semiconductor equipment and processes* Wafer processing (silicon, glass, plastics)* Metrology* Running experiments* Writing up SOPs* Equipment calibration and maintenance* Maintaining cleanroom stocksAbout You: * HND/BSc/BEng/MEng in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Electronics or similar* Industrial experience working in cleanrooms with glass, silicon and polymers* Experience working with and completing routine maintenance of complex semiconductor equipment* Photolithography, wafer-bonding, sputtering/evaporation, RIE/D-RIE, wire-bonding/hot-bar bonding, wafer dicing, electroplating, chip testing, plasma processes and chemicals handling, including HF acid* Metrology, including surface profilers, microscopes, SEM, EDX and ellipsometer* Equipment maintenance and calibration* Monitoring vacuum systems (chart pump down times), particle counts, temp./humidity measurements* Creating and following H&S/COSHH/RAS procedures* Self-motivated and methodical* Excellent attention to detail and can deliver high quality work to tight schedulesStart: Immediate Location: South CambridgeshireSalary: £GenerousBenefits: * A generous employer pension contribution* Employee share scheme* Private medical insurance* Profit share* 25 days annual holiday plus bank holidays* Life insurance* Discounts and memberships to local sports facilities and the theatre* Cycle to Work scheme* A comprehensive relocation package is also available, if applicableIf you are interested in this position, feel you have the relevant experience and skills and would like to apply, please call our team on or apply online.
