Location: RoystonHourly Rate: £15.38 (PAYE) or £20.59 (Ltd / Umbrella)Duration: 6 monthsWe are recruiting for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join a global leading Manufacturer of capital equipment for various high-end industries. The company have specialised in the design and manufacture of automated systems used for supporting various industries The successful Assistant Facilities Manager will come from a similar background, and must be willing to potentially work unsocial hours and be on call throughout the week. A clean, full UK driving Licence is essential for this roleAssistant Facilities Manager Responsibilities:Be recognised across the business as a contact for facilities issuesHelp to manage an efficient and customer focussed facilities service to all employees, whether permanent, temporary or on a fixed term contractTo assist in the project management of building maintenance and servicingTo assist in the management of utilitiesAssist in the management of fire safety at all sites including fire alarm testing, management of emergency lighting and appliance inspections and implementation of fire risk assessment recommendationsTo ensure buildings and facilities meet statutory health and safety requirementsManage the Health and Safety of all contractors and site visitorsTo check that agreed work by staff or contractors is being completed safely as agreed and when completed is satisfactory and to follow up on any deficienciesTo manage key facilities supplier contracts (gas bottles, catering, security, cleaning, utilities and waste) and to use performance management techniques to monitor and improve service levelsCalculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for moneyTo respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with any consequences.Assistant Facilities Manager Requirements:Previous experience in a similar Facilities Manager roleExperience of Building Heating Systems, Managing Site Security, Cleaning Systems and UtilitiesProject planning / implementation experienceMS Office knowledgeWilling to be on-call for night shift cover and a key holderFull Clean UK Driving LicenceIf you are interested in this Assistant Facilities Manager opportunity, click Apply Now and we will be in touch with you soon.
