Job Description

Accounts AdministratorSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experienceHours: Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 17.00, Friday 08.00 - 13.00Part time hours are also considered working no less than 30 hours per weekFull-time on site for the first 3 months then hybrid working available.Location: RoystonWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join an established business.This is a dual role within Accounts and HR Admin. The ideal candidate must have accounts experience and have worked with an ERP system.Responsibilities: Accounts Administrator

  • Input and payment of all supplier invoices to ERP system.
  • Highlight any price increases to purchasing.
  • Update exchange rates on ERP using HMRC rates monthly.
  • Forward and spot sale of USD/EUR as and when required.
  • Prepare and submit vat on ERP system. Download C79(import vat certificates) using HMRC website monthly.
  • Maintain spreadsheet for commission due to distributors.
  • Raise commission credit notes on ERP system.
  • Input all incoming payments from customers. Allocate proforma payments to sales orders and adjust for bank charges.
  • Maintain Lloyds bank accounts and make transfers when necessary to keep accounts within agreed limits to avoid bank charges.
  • Reconcile bank accounts - monthly.
  • Run aged debtors monthly and send statements to customers with balances.
  • Chase overdue balances as and when required by telephone/email.
  • Management monthly reports - sales/product sales/pending orders.
  • Input employee expenses.
  • Input credit card expenses.
  • Journal input.
  • Liaise with Accountants at year end and provide required data.
Responsibilities: HR Administration
  • Employee contracts & starter packs.
  • Timesheets & Clockrite.
  • IRIS Business payroll - Iris Staffology from April 2024.
  • Provide figures for quarterly production bonus.
  • Managing IRIS HR Employee database as the administrator.
  • Sickness and absence reports for managers monthly.
  • Employee Loans.
  • Administer Bupa Healthcare cash plan & employee claims - any changes reported to Bupa monthly.
  • AIG DIS Life Cover - Quarterly submission with any changes to salary/members.
  • Manage annual leave and lieu days.
  • Safety glasses - Issue vouchers via the Specsavers portal.
  • Royal London Pension scheme admin- monthly submission/yearly update.
  • R&D claims admin via portal - MPA.
  • Next of kin database/spreadsheets.
  • Stock take administration.
  • Provide data for annual company Insurance.
  • P11D data submission via Excel to accountants- annual.
