Staff 365 are looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader for our client based in Rotherham.• Contract: Temp to Perm – immediate start available • Location: Rotherham• Salary: £10.50 rising to £14 per hour • Working days/Hours: Days shift only - 4 on, 4 off including weekends on a rota. Start 6am and finish 6pm some flexibility is required.DUTIES:Direction and management for Warehouse teams of 10 + people for goods in and goods out.Supervise, mentor and train warehouse operatives getting the best from your team.Providing support & assistance to the Warehouse Manager in all aspects including health & safety, warehousing, packing, distribution and logistics.Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained and site rules and regulations are adhered to in line with company policies and procedures.Responsible for all pre-op safety checks and maintenance of all MHE equipment on siteUphold and enforce company procedures recommending improvements where necessary.Work with the warehouse manager to identify and implement areas for improvement and change, driving performance and efficiency in all areas of warehouse operations.Assisting the organisation of warehousing workloads/staff deployment.Using a variety of software packages to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.Oversee all aspects of stock control including counting, processing, troubleshooting & problem solving.Providing administrative support to the office and warehouse teams by organising & processing paperwork, documents and computer-based information. Promote continuous improvement through the development of the warehouse team.To prioritise warehouse duties ensuring service levels and deadlines are achieved, operation runs in line with plans and tasks are completed on schedule to meet KPIs.Effectively optimising the warehouse capacity through efficient housekeeping of all stock and product lines.Ensuring that the Goods in department is managed according to the compliance procedures of site schedule.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE• A good level standard of education or equivalent • Knowledge of manufacturing and technical knowledge of Warehousing and Distribution• Previous Team Leader experience in a Warehouse environment • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations• Excellent work ethic.• Good PC literacy.• Strong people management and communication skills: ability to lead and engage employees at all levels.• Drive for results: can be relied upon to exceed goals successfully, steadfastly pushes self and others for results.• Ability to apply company policies in regard to HR, safety, quality and sustainability and associated processes.• Understanding of UK H&S legislation and awareness of IOS9001, OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 requirements.Applications are encouraged by those with existing team leader/people management skills.So if you want to be part of the future of our client’s business where you can progress then we want to hear from you.Staff 365 are a recruitment business and equal opportunities Employer.KeywordsTeam LeaderWarehouseDistributionSupervisor Management
