Job Description

OPPORTUNITY:Brewster Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Welder. You will ensure that maximum productivity is produced without compromising quality, by following departmental procedures at all times.Shift pattern:

  • WEEK 1 Monday to Friday 6am-2pm
  • WEEK 2 Monday to Wednesday 8pm-6am and Thursday 8:30pm-6am (Includes £15 per night attendance allowance- £60 for the week)
THE JOB:
  • Perform welding activities on a wide range of components in carbon steel, armour steel,
  • aluminium etc. and other metals as may be required from time to time
  • Required to weld various joint configurations in all positions in a competent manner
  • Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity,
  • and WPS requirements
  • Review engineering drawings for parts to be welded
  • Satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale
  • Ensure correct marking up of components parts
  • Fabricate, assemble and weld components to the correct quality levels and set timescales
THE PERSON:
  • Welding / Fabrication Experience
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and additional MTL requirements
  • Understanding of Company quality procedures and specific customer requirements
  • Ability to work effectively and use own initiative
  • Communication Skills
  • Flexible and diligent attitude
