Job Description

Warehouse Operative - Rotherham

  • £10.71 per hour starting pay
  • Days and Afters rotating (6am-2pm, 1pm-9pm)
  • Night shift will be introduced after training completed (12 months)
  • £28 shift allowance per shift on nights
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract after 12 weeks
  • Overtime is paid at x 1.5 Monday - Saturday and Sunday at double time
iRecruit are working with a well-known distributor of steel products on a temporary - permanent basis. This position is for someone who is looking for long-term employment and looking to progress within a company and learn new skillsPrior experience is not essential for this position, if you have a desire to learn new skills as full training is be providedThe ideal candidate:
  • Experience working with in a warehouse environment is desirable
  • Physically fit and able due to lifting up to 25kg
  • Good timekeeping and attitude towards work
  • FLT, Side Loader and Overhead Crane desirable but not essential
  • Health and safety awareness
Duties include:
  • Assisting with the overall production and dispatch of customers orders
  • Recording stock movement and usage effectively
  • Heavy lifting
  • Adhering to health and safety
  • Working within a fast paced environment
  • Cutting steel with different types of saws and lasers
