Job Description

Job Title: KS2 TutorLocation: Rotherham Primary SchoolsSalary: £150 per dayJob Type: Part-time/Full-timeHere at REED we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated KS2 Tutor to join our team based in Rotherham Primary Schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and be able to work on a 1:3 basis to provide tailored support to students inYears 5 and 6.REED has a great reputation certainly in the Education sector of supporting candidates in finding their next role; be it a long-term temporary role, casual supply or permanent contracts.We have relationships with schools and Multi-Academy Trusts such as: David Ross, Oasis, Delta and Harbour Learning Trust. Our presence covers Scunthorpe, Hull, Grimsby and the surrounding areas.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons to small groups of students on a 1:3 basis.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and classroom teachers to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Work collaboratively with the school staff to support the students academic and social development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to the school staff and parents.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) Qualification or PCGE.
  • Experience teaching KS2 students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Current DBS certificate.
