Job Description

Fast Track Trainee Mortgage Adviser opportunity, providing an outstanding long term career in Financial Services as a fully CeMAP qualified Mortgage Adviser, working for the UKS leading new homes mortgage provider.Job Title:Trainee Mortgage AdviserBasis: Full time Permanent Employed RoleLocation: Based at our new offices in Wakefield, West Yorkshire during the initial 18 month training period. but once training is complete and you gain promotion to a Mortgage and Protection Adviser**, the roles becomes a HOME BASED role, Target: Candidates with a strong desire to work within the Financial Services arena, ideally educated to at least A level or equivalent standard, with a strong demonstrable track record in customer service and sales.Year One Rewards**: £20K basic salary with an OTE of £30K.After 12 Months**: Basic salary increase to £25K with an OTE of £40K.After 18 Months**: You will become a fully CeMAP Qualified, Home Based Mortgage Adviser, with a basic salary of up to £35K and an OTE of £70K.CeMAP Support*: We will provide full financial support to gain CF1 & CF6 CeMAP Mortgage Adviser qualifications, including full provision for study materials with all exam entry costs paid for.Working Hours: Whilst working as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser you will work an average of 35 hours per week with variable shift patterns. You will be required to work alternate weekends on rota with weekday time off in lieu.Timeline: Immediate interviews with June 2022 startThe New Homes Group:The New Homes Group is the UKS leading New Homes Specialist and as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser you will be working for the UKS leading new homes Mortgage Provider, under our brand called New Homes Mortgage Helpline who are the market leader.Be in no doubt that this is an outstanding opportunity that offers both long term career prospects and the opportunity to earn a substantial salary and benefits package.Your role will initially consist of office based working for New Homes Mortgage Helpline working in the front line as first point of contact for our customers, needless to say this is an important and integral part of our organisation, our teams are highlytrained and work to high expectations and are responsible for managing our customers first impressions, its fair to say you will find no two days are the same, and the experience gained will be invaluable to you once you become a Mortgage Adviser.Initially you will be responsible for making and receiving calls to customers referred to us by our national housebuilder clients, your role will require you to accurately record their details as part of their mortgage application, with the intention ofarranging an appointment with one of our specialist Mortgage Advisers.Required Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

  • Educated to A level or equivalent standard as a minimum.
  • Bachelors degree is preferable but not essential.
  • A strong desire to work within the Financial Services Industry, particularly within mortgages and protection.
  • A strong track record in customer service and sales.
  • Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple format.
  • Organised, and adopts a disciplined and structured approach to work.
  • Highly competent user of IT and a competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
