Stobart Energy have an exciting opportunity for a Sampling and Analysis Technician to join their team.Division: EnergyLocation: Based between two sites – Rotherham and Pollington (daily travel required)Salary: CompetitiveShift Pattern: Monday to FridayStobart Group is focused on delivering growth in its two-core operating divisions; Aviation & Energy.Stobart Group also holds a portfolio of infrastructure assets and investments.Sampling and Analysis Technician – What is the roleStobart Energy is happy to advertise the role of Sampling and Analysis Technician within the quality department.The successful candidate will carry out sampling and testing of processed material, along with following procedures for assessing incoming material and outbound finished goods.Within the role you will also assist in the development and improvement of QC processes.Sampling and Analysis Technician - What will you be responsible forWith a keen eye for detail, you will be responsible for ensuring that the correct procedures and instructions are followed for assessing quality of finished goods, along with analysing samples for moisture content, particle size distribution and bulk density.Using your communication skills, you will prepare and dispatch samples for external chemical testing and liaise with laboratories and couriers, whilst also managing retention samples and ensuring space is well utilised in site laboratories.Utilising your mathematical skills and having a basic understanding of chemicals are key attributes required for this role, along with ensuring health and safety is maintained.Stobart Group is committed to equal opportunities for all.
