They are operating with over 60,000 employees in over 100 countries worldwide, with a history spanning over 120 years in the gas industry.Our client is looking for an ambitious Proposal Engineer, who has a good understanding of plant design within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will also have strong knowledge of pressure vessels, as well as confidence with cost estimations, topropose accurate and enticing proposal to clients.Responsibilities for the Proposal Engineer - Plant Design based in Brinsworth, Rotherham:- You will produce high quality engineering proposals principally supporting the growth in hydrogen projects, based on information provided by stakeholders and a good engineering understanding of the products and services we offer.-Further you will continuously improve the collaboration between sales and engineering to improve efficiency and accuracy of opportunities through to project initiation-Represent the companys engineering department at customer visits on larger opportunities, with an aim to add value and better understand the customers needs and associated engineering requirements -Produce cost estimations at a variety of accuracies for project opportunities by working with suppliers and internal discipline engineering departments.The ideal candidate will have experience of Industrial gases and/or Pressure Systems. But, not essential, as relevant training will be given to someone with a strong background in Proposals for industry engineering projects.
