Job Description

Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Project Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in South Yorkshire who are looking to further expand their talented projects team for some key growth and sitedevelopment projects.Reporting into the sites senior engineering team, as Project Engineer you will be responsible for delivering a hands on engineering role focused on a range of cradle to grave project work, analysis, operational/yield improvements, site development, installs,commissioning and more. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for anyone looking to drive an exciting site development project with an leading technical team.The Project Engineers duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the full lifecycle of onsite process and projects from cradle to grave as a key technical engineer with projects experience
  • Managing large capital (CAPEX) budgets, through identification, justification, install and commission on some key capital investement projects
  • Co-Ordinate and direct key assignments, schedules, plans, costings and execution
  • Act as a point of contract for a range of key site projects issues
  • Actively participate in identifying a range of production related problems and support in developing solutions
  • Utilise excellent time management skills to ensure swift, successful delivery of projects
  • Co-ordinate specified projects from point of order to install and commission
  • Support with root cause analysis, maintenance issues on line processes and much more
We are very keen to speak to Project Engineers that have the following skills and experience:
  • Degree or relevant HND within an engineering field
  • Significant experience in managing CAPEX budgets and projects from cradle to grave
  • Experience within heavy manufacturing would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and implementation of continuous improvement tools (Lean/Six Sigma etc.)
  • Experience supporting key projects of varying scales, the more experience in cradle to grave implementation of plant equipment installation and modification whilst maintaining minimal production impact
  • Good understanding of various manufacturing equipment and related systems
  • Computer literacy is essential with various project based software such as MS Office, MS Project and/or design/CAD experience
