Job Description

Production Scheduler Mining Industry

  • £30,000 - £35,000
Elevation Procurement and Supply Chain are excited to be working with a leading provider of specialty metals, alloys and materials. The business is looking for a Scheduler to join their busy Procurement team; you will be responsible for managing the flow ofmaterials, resources, and information to ensure timely and efficient procurement and delivery processes. As Scheduler, your duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Production scheduling
  • Supplier coordination
  • Inventory Management
  • Order processing
  • Transportation and logistics coordination
  • Risk management
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Communication and collaboration
  • Continuous improvement
  • Compliance and documentation
Key skills of the Scheduler:
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in production scheduling/control in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience in MS Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level)
  • Effective troubleshooting, problem solving, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a structured manner and react to changes quickly and effectively
  • Experience of a KPI driven working environment
