Our client, a manufactuer with multiple high speed high volume production lines, seeks to appoint a Production Engineer to their maintenance and facilities team. The appointed Production Engineer will have held a Production Engineer style role previouslyafter completing an engineering focused qualification, understand project management site shutdowns and capex installations, have good knowledge of maintenance (TPM preferred) and reliability techniques to maximise machinery capabilities, be IOSH or NEBOSHqualified, and be well versed in lean and continuous improvement.On offer is an excellent starting salary and generous benefits package. A varied role this opportunity would suit a multi-faceted engineer currently working as a Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer looking fora step up in their career.Process Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Production Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer- Identify and implement improvement projects to recude cost whilst increasing output- Review and make improvements to standard processes and operating procedures. Specific focus on spotting bottle necks in production lines, reducing process times, and eliminating scrap material / waste- Maintenance, reliability and TPM activities- Good understanding of lean and continuous improvement activities- Evaluate suggested CAPEX projects and take the lead on planned shutdownsProcess Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Production Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer- Degree / HND qualified in engineering or equivalent- Background in a high speed high volume largely automated production environment- Competent all rounder with knowledge of maintenance, TPM, projects and production / process engineering- Previous experience of process improvement methodologies and at least three years experience in a Process Engineer style role- Excellent lean and continuous improvement knowledge- Experienced with site shutdowns and CAPEX projectsProcess Engineer, Production Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, FMCG, Manufacturing Engineer
