Elevation Recruitment Group are working alongside a leading FMCG business in Rotherham who are looking to hire a Process Improvement Leader to join their manufacturing operation.Reporting into the Quality Systems Manager, the role will be to ensure conformance to quality, safety and hygiene standards on a routine basis whilst assisting with route cause analysis and developing the current systems.Duties and responsibilities include:- To ensure that process monitoring, and quality assurance are undertaken within the shift to ensure conformance to customer specification- To engage closely with operators and production staff to improve and drive qualitystandards- Actively participate in root cause analysis for complaints and internal issues, by engaging with the production management team- Assist in the implementation of the corrective actions that arise from quality investigations- To participate and contribute to quality meetings and reviews. Help drive the new initiatives on the shift that will increase the sites quality and BRC standards- Foster a strong relationship with the Production shifts and provide support in ensuring the site standards of quality and hygiene are achieved- To highlight any areas of non-conformance and to carry out relevant preventative action and process improvements- To actively participate in the planning, implementation and follow through of training and development of quality and product safety standards across the plant- To ensure that all reporting routines are undertaken to the necessary standard.- To conduct performance testing of raw material and finished product and understandimplications of sub-standard products manufactured- To ensure that procedures are followed as detailed in the Management Systems- Carry out internal audits - including product safety and quality audits- Produce and maintain quality related documents and report- Conduct Hygiene Awareness training with production staffIm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:- FMCG and manufacturing experience- Experience of quality systems and auditing- Hygiene management would be beneficial- Happy to work shifts
