Primary Class Teachers are responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and age-appropriate lessons across a range of subjects.They create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging active participation and fostering a love for learning. Utilisinga variety of teaching strategies and resources, they cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring every child hasthe opportunity to succeed.Monitoring and tracking student progress, Primary Class Teachers provide timely feedback to parents and colleagues, supporting each students growth. Collaboration with fellow educators and support staff is essential to create a holistic learning experience.In addition to academic instruction, these teachers often participate in school events and extracurricular activities, further enriching the students educational journey. The Primary Class Teacher plays a significant role in laying a strong foundation forstudents lifelong learning and academic success.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum Delivery:Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and age-appropriate lessons for primary school students, ensuring a strong foundation in core subjects.
  2. Classroom Environment:Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation, a love for learning, and mutual respect among students.
  3. Teaching Strategies:Utilisea variety of effective teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs of students, fostering academic growth.
  4. Progress Monitoring:Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to parents and colleagues to support continuous improvement.
  5. Collaboration:Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create a holistic learning experience and participate in school-wide initiatives.
  6. Extracurricular Involvement:Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and contribute to extracurricular activities that enrich the students educational journey.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Relevant degree in Education or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and a genuine commitment to student success.
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of primary school students.
  • Prior teaching experience is advantageous.
