Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity available for an Injection Moulding Machine Setter to join a manufacturing business based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The role is to work for a business that is a leader in the marketfor the manufacturing and supply of plastic components with a prestigious, household brand.The role offers an annual salary of £29,000 to £33,000 including shift allowances.Duties include;- Set and operate various machines associated with the manufacturing process within plastic injection moulding- Some manual production / packing operations- Accurately record information relating to scrap, downtime, and machine issues- Collection & checking of materials to be used in the production process - Following work instructions associated with each process- Participate and conform to 5 S activities- Completion of all relevant Safety and Quality Checks on Process and Product in accordance with company Quality standards- Routine machine checks and maintenance tasks- General support on any other reasonable tasks/duties to aid the efficient running of the departmentThe successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:- Experience of Plastic Injection Moulding Machinery including setting- Must have good understanding of English and Mathematics- Must have a mechanical aptitude - Mechanical apprenticeship in a FMCG environment would be advantageous but not essentialIf you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Rachel Oldfield at Elevation Recruitment Group or click apply.Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
