Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group has the pleasure of working with a fantastic manufacturing company based in the Mexborough area, who is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with immediate effect!Salary: Up to £44,000Location: MexboroughHours: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)A few of the many benefits:

Duties of this Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer position:
  • Carries out routine scheduled maintenance (Mechanical & Electrical) and respond promptly to equipment faults/breakdowns
  • Diagnose breakdown problems and use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to rectify them
  • Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure you and the company are the best it can be!
  • Help to develop and complete PPM’s regularly
  • Liaise with other departments regarding breakdowns and changes
  • Working within a team environment
Desired experience:
  • You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
  • It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
  • Ideally have sound mechanical engineering knowledge/ experience also
  • Must be happy working shifts
  • Have experience in Fault finding within previous roles.
  • Ideally have manufacturing experience from an engineering perspective
  • Have experience of working with PLC’s
  • Great communication skills (reading and spoken English are Essential)
  • You must be open minded and flexible to change with the needs and growth of the business
