Job Description

Job Type: PermanentSalary: £40K - £45KHybrid: NoLocation: RotherhamOur well-established manufacturing client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their Rotherham based team, in a role reporting directly into the Finance Director and with progression opportunities to Finance Manager and Finance Controller.You will provide assistance to the Finance Direct to deliver an effective Management and Financial Reporting function. Key duties include provision of timely and accurate daily, weekly, and periodic financial information to the business and leading the periodend close and production of management information.Key Responsibilities:Management Accounts:

  • Carry out period end processing tasks to agreed deadlines
  • Perform key balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review GP% by sector and investigate variances
  • Perform variance analysis to target (Budget, Forecast, Flash)
Treasury:
  • Production of accurate and timely weekly cash receipts and payments forecast for all currencies
  • Monthly updating of long-term cash flow and balance sheet model
  • Provide cover as required in the Production of accurate and timely daily cash receipts and payments updates
  • Provide cover as required in creating payment instructions ensuring requisite approval
Responsibility for the International Purchase Ledger:
  • Confirming Proforma Invoices with suppliers at the time of order
  • Liaising with Importers and providing required information for customs declarations and checking these have been produced correctly on our behalf
  • Processing International purchase invoices
  • Production of accurate payment plans and creating payment instructions for international payments
  • Production of accurate and timely weekly cash receipts and payments forecast for all currencies
