Job Description

OPPORTUNITY:Brewster Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor. overall responsibility for leading the maintenance team to maintain and repair all equipment. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment within a planned maintenancescheme to meet customer requirements and drive performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals.Working hours are:7.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Thursday7.30am - 2pm FridayTHE JOB:

  • Develops, deploys, resources, and governs critical maintenance processes to support the operation. For example, Preventative Maintenance programs, analysis and problem-solving of reactive maintenance activity, business continuity, and risk management ofkey equipment.
  • Creates and participates in the daily, weekly, and monthly "standard diary" governance reviews to embed control, resolve problems in a timely manner, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensures Environment, Health and Safety processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensures machinery is fit for purpose (safe to operate) at all times
  • Maintenance intervention is carried out in a risk-managed and safe manner (for example, through control of contractors procedures, non-standard work risk assessments, routine hazard-spotting, and auditing).
  • Drive the team via daily meetings and 1-1s providing direction, coaching and advice
  • To support implementation and management of the PPM or site equipment
  • Ensuring best practice methods and techniques are used to achieve right first-time objectives
  • Ensuring that time is maximised throughout the shifts
  • Promotes adherence to EHS Model and Principles
THE PERSON:
  • Creates alignment through regular governance and performance management.
  • Demonstrates resilience, and an ability to retain rational thought under pressure.
  • Positively represents the business internally and externally, to suppliers, customers, employees, shareholders and the community.
  • Focuses on business priorities in all interactions.
  • 5-8 years within an Engineering and or maintenance department
  • 3-5 years in an Engineering management/supervisory position
  • Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship
  • Competent in mechanical practices
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
