Job Description

Location: RotherhamSalary: £24,000 - £26,000Summary:This is a newly created role working for a leading manufacturer of specialist packaging products within the food packaging sector. Reporting directly to the Commercial and Logistics Manager you will ensure customers are receiving an excellent service andprovide a full support service to the Supply Chain team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries both for the UK and import/export
  • Liaise with customers, hauliers, suppliers and customs clearing agents
  • Prepare shipping documentation
  • Obtaining quotes from hauliers
  • Liaising with drivers and dealing with dispatch and routing issues
  • Log shipping data
  • Assist with reverse logistics
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Knowledge of Brexit regulations
  • Previous Logistics experience
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • A " can do" attitude
