Job Description

Lecturer in Health & Social Care2.5 hours per week, Term Time OnlyTemporary until April, with a possibility of extending to June£16.87 - £17.70ph plus holiday pay (dependant on TQ)Location; Dearne Valley College, RotherhamRotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group.Are you passionate about supporting the learning journey of students within education We are looking for a lecturer to teach Level 3 and Access on Health & Social Care courses at Dearne Valley College on a temporary basis. The hours will be 09:3012:00 on Friday mornings.The role of lecturer is to equip the students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential. This role offers you the opportunity to do this every day. It is the jobsatisfaction that comes from this that makes a teaching role special.Have you got what it takes to be successfulThe suitable candidate will:

  • hold teaching experience preferably in a similar FE setting.
  • be competent to teach and mark a variety of topics on the Health & Social Care Level 1-3/Access programmes.
  • hold relevant degree qualification or equivalent.
  • hold or be working towards a teaching qualification.
