Pertemps Work-based Learning and Skills division is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a thriving training provider.This training provider is offering a highly competitive salary, good holidays, and pension scheme with the flexibility of home and office working.This training provider has an excellent reputation and the position is available immediately.Main duties of the Learner Systems Manager" You will own the internal learner management system, so you will be required to provide technical support and project management in the development of the PICS core and PICS CRM systems currently in place." Ongoing management of the PICS system and act as 1st point liaison with external software providers to resolve issues/escalations." You will work closely with the senior management team ensuring that the data requirements to manage the business can be accessed from the system, including the ability to create reports that are required for departments, and maintain the dashboard so people can access reports swiftly and efficiently supported by your general maintenance of the CRM/MIS systems currently in place." You will also work with our MI Analyst to interrogate the output from the systems ensuring data is accurate and timely to support the claims process." Keeping up to date with Pellcom (PICS provider) and being able to oversee and apply the updates to our system is essential, alongside supporting internal users relating to the PICS systems." Act as support with the current online model of education looking for fixes for particular issues arising on VLE (Moodle/Linux) and overseeing the software based maintenance and upgrading of VLE would be a significant advantage but not essential." You will strive to deliver accurate and timely information for board level review to support the sustainability and growth of the business.Skills and Experience required for Leaner Systems Manager" Related sector experience within Education/Work-Based Learning" Extensive knowledge of Funding systems such as PICS or Maytas" Experienced and competent user of SQL" An advanced understanding of IT systems and the principles and approaches that influence their performance, combined with an analytical approach to data" You will also have good project management skills around IT systems implementation as we are at a crucial point in developing this system further." It would be desirable to have a working knowledge in Linux to support the companies Moodle based Virtual Learning Environment."
