Job Description

Provide Education are looking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) who specialises in supporting pupils based in Key Stage 2 (KS2) to work for one of our client schools in Rotherham. This would be to start ASAP and will continue the end of the academicyear. There may also be an opportunity for the right person to be offered an extension on this role into next academic year. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday in term time from 8:30am until 3:30pm (any changes to these times, will be discussedwith you prior to accepting the role). The ideal candidate must have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English Grade C and above.Key duties will include:

  • Helping all children in the classroom with a variety of needs.
  • Liaising closely with the class teacher and school staff.
  • Providing guidance to all pupils throughout the curriculum of Key stage 2 and different subjects such as Art & History.
  • Helping with SATs preparation.
  • Adhering to safeguarding procedures to keep all pupils and staff safe.
  • Closely monitoring pupils to help them engage with subjects in class.
