Job Description

Staff365 are recruiting for an IT Technician on a permanent basis for our manufacturing client located in RotherhamSalary: £26,000Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.30Benefits: 33 Days Holiday inc BH, Casual Dress, Free Parking, Sick paySummary:We are looking for an experienced IT Technician, to join a team of five, who will be responsible for the day-to-day support of a medium sized network, comprising of several Hyper-V clusters, various core and access switches, PCs, laptops, printers, andother associated IT equipment.We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record of IT support, someone that has a patient and methodical approach to problem solving and who can manage their own schedule.Duties:

  • Dealing with the more technical related issues received into the IT Department.
  • Supporting the deployment of hardware, software, and the ongoing maintenance of all onsite and remote information technology assets.
  • Supporting employees with Windows operating systems and various applications in a face-to-face manner.
  • Hardware and software procurement.
  • Assisting the IT apprentice.
  • Covering 1st line and 2nd line due to annual leave or sickness.
  • Other IT related tasks such as user training, housekeeping, and office refurbishments.
  • Windows Desktop and Server Support
  • Hyper-V, GPO, AD/Azure AD, Intune, WSUS
  • Network cable and patch panel termination
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Full UK driving license.
