Job Description

Opportunity:Brewster Partners have an excellent opportunity for an Inspection Engineer, Brewster Partners are looking for time served electrician/electrical engineer to join their site team.The candidate must be able to travel, have a flexible approach and have a good experience and knowledge of industrial electrical switchgear systems.Duties will include:

  • Service inspection of Power systems - Voltage Optimisation (training provided)
  • Undertake onsite sales survey for new orders.
  • Installing and commissioning energy metering control panels.
  • Communication with site-based engineering staff and third-party maintenance contractors whilst installing and commissioning.
  • Troubleshooting and investigating faults on current sites in companys portfolio.
  • Service inspection on Electrical equipment
  • Performing FATs and SATs on client sites
  • Completing inspection reports
  • Provide Service and Sales support to Clients
  • Travelling throughout the South East with occasionally travelling further afield when required
  • Fully test installed units
  • Customer Service and Sales Support
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn.
  • Installation of various containment and armoured cables up to 630mm
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
    • Skills and experience required:
  • An Engineering/Electrical qualification such as C&G or ONC/HNC in an electrical discipline.
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • You must be able to read/work to electrical wiring diagrams
  • Practical knowledge of electrical/electronic systems
  • You must be able to read/work to electrical wiring diagrams
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
