Job Description

Senior HR Business Partner c. £80,000 + bonus + car allowanceHR Careers & Nationwide Recruitment Service have an exciting new role for a National inspirational and market-leading business. Our client is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner, to look after around 200 sites as well as hundreds of employees and HR Business Partner. You will be responsible for our clients sites covering East Midlands, Yorkshire, Sheffield, Oxford,Peterborough etc Role Summary & PurposeThis role is a senior leadership role and the Senior HRBP is a strategic and operational partner to the Regional Directors working alongside them to support the achievement of people and the business objectives, supporting the growth and expansion of thebusiness, whilst keeping its individuality, core values and ethos.The role is aligned to the implementation of the People Priorities which focus on long-term growth, protecting the business from risk, and managing people-related gaps and opportunities.The role requires strategic HR competence, broad business knowledge and an in-depth awareness of people processes, commercial acumen, and change management ability.This role has been designed to be a true HR Business partner with a number of regions and will support over c. two thousand operational employees, across c two hunderd and fifty sitesThe Senior HRBP will support Directors, on the growth and demands of the organisation. The Senior HRBP will play a role in achieving this ambitious growth. Senior HRBPs have HR Business Partner(s) reporting to them and will be responsible for about two hunderedplus site managers and the associated support staff.It is imperative you can be very hands-on as well as strategic and lead by example; the Senior HR Business Partner will be pivotal in the regions business strategy as well as HR generalist duties the team provides.The role will include frequent and essential travel throughout the UK & Ireland, so the post holder must be flexible in working arrangements and be able to meet the travel requirementsA qualified HR professional with experience gained within a multi-site, national, or international business. Experience of a company that has grown exponentially and experience change management and all the exciting things that come with it!

  • Extensive experience in generalist HR roles
  • Proven track record in complex, multi-site business with employees spread over a wide area.
  • Experience in a national or international business that has been moving or developing very quickly
  • Experience in highly commercial environments
  • Proven delivery of pragmatic HR solutions
  • Experience in team and individual development needs
  • Success in facilitating large group sessions
  • Ability to commuicate at all levels, including with the board/ senior directors/ managers
  • High-level case management experience
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, practices & procedures
  • Commercial expereince in terms of decision making that also include the requirements of the overal company and keeping HR best practice at the core.
  • Demonstrates competence or potential to lead, challenge and inspire Regional Directors through to Depot staff in order to drive and embed initiatives successfully
  • Forward thinking, with strong strategic, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed planning & organisational skills
  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong networker who can influence at all levels
  • A self-starter with the desire to take responsibility for projects and initiatives and the tenacity to see them through to completion

  • An ability to consider the impact of legislation and other requirements on planned initiatives and implement plans accordingly.
