Job Description

HR AdvisorBasic salary between £27,000 and £32,000 depending on experienceBased in RotherhamMy client is a large multinational organisation who are looking for an experience HR Advisor to support their Rotherham site in all matters HR related. This is a full time permanent role based from the office 5 days per week. If youre looking for a great opportunityto support a site and focus on project work as well as day to day HR activities this could be the perfect role for you.The Role:

  • Supporting a site of around 100 employees across a variety of job roles from customer focused positions to more warehouse based roles.
  • Youll maintain the personnel records system and ensure its up to date including contract information, salaries, training and leavers
  • The recruitment function is also your responsibility in terms of posting adverts, liaising with recruitment agencies, managing CVs and setting up interviews as well as attending them when needed. Youll also be involved in the preparation of job specs withdepartment heads.
  • Offer letters, eligibility to work and then running inductions for newly hired staff will also come under your remit.
  • Training and development is key so youll be able to develop projects in this area to ensure staff are always growing and developing in their roles and working with managers to help identify needs and opportunities for growth in individuals.
  • All employee relations sits within your area of responsibility and youll support with disciplinaries and grievances as well as investigations.
  • Youll also work with a team to ensure the Investors in People accreditation is maintained and analyse and monitor the equal opportunities policies within the business.
The Person:
  • Were looking for someone with solid HR experience across the broad range of areas above as this is a stand alone role
  • Youll be comfortable working from the office every day, there isnt really an option for home working in this role
  • Youll have a good understanding of employment law and have experience with investigations and disciplinary support
  • Experience using HR management software is needed as this is a paperless office
  • Great communication skills are a must and youll be confident delivering both written and verbal meeting reports.
  • Its also important youre able to work on your own initiative and autonomously when needed but also be able to influence and support the management team.
The Package:
  • The basic salary depends very much on experience, from £27,000 to £32,000 per annum
  • Working Monday to Friday, 8,30am to 5pm
  • 22 days holiday rising to 25 with length of service
