Job Description

Highways Project Manager required for a fantastic contract based in RotherhamCouncil Based RoleThe RoleThe post holder will act as NEC Engineering and Construction Contract Project Manager for a highway scheme valued at £40m that includes:

  • New and amended pavements
  • Highway Structures
  • Earthworks
  • Drainage
  • Lighting and street furniture.
  • Supervising staff that form the Councils site supervision team
  • Liaison with Council officers, outside bodies and stakeholders
  • The Parkway widening scheme is a design and build contract
    • The Requirements
  • The postholder will have extensive experience of major highway site works and experience of the above conditions of contract including all aspects of time and programmes, payments and compensation events, risk management, quality, safety and contract administration.
  • Council Based experience would be highly beneficial
  • Qualifications Required: Diploma/NVQ/Degree civil engineering
  • Project Management eg. APM PMQ or PPQ , Prince2 Practitioner
  • NEC3 Professional Accreditation
  • Memberships: Membership of ICE, IHE, CIHT, TPS
  • Membership of Association of Project Management or Project Management Institute

  • 3 Month + Ongoing
  • £46.55 per hour (Inside IR35) Paid via Umbrella Company
