Job Description

Sharp Consultancy have been retained by a well-known international market leader, as they look to add a new Head of IT to manage and lead the IT processes across the group.You will report directly into the CEO, and you will be responsible for a small team, with plans to grow the function and increase its impact across the wider business over the next 2-3 years.As well as managing the function on a day-to-day basis, with a clear level of visibility across the business you will also lead across the following key areas and take full responsibility for driving the growth of the function:* Lead across IT and all IT Projects * Management of the current IT systems* Service desk POC across the group leadership team* Development, design and implementation of new internal systems* ERP Implementation* Improve and implement shop floor data capture processes* Network development* Capex reporting developments * Implementation of Capital spending processes through improved systems management* Streamlined processes via improved system usage (automation in particular)* Improvement recommendations via the leadership team* Manage the Groups Cybersecurity Policies and best practices, including compliance* Manage external relations across IT, Networks and Cybersecurity* Develop and manage the IT budget process* Manage the function and small team, with particular focus across Hardware/Software related issues* Responsibility for licensing, Backup, Recovery and the implementation of process changes if necessary* Develop and grow the existing team into a group wide best in class IT functionThe business can boast an exceptional working environment, with best-in-class products and a clear strategy to win greater market share across a strong five year growth plan.The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, with strong communication skills, alongside a proven background within IT Management and Leadership who has the necessary gravitas to develop the function across a highly commercial group.If you are interested in the above vacancy, or alternatively are only tentatively looking please do not hesitate to contact me completely confidentially in the first instance.Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
