Job Description

Pertemps Recruitment are currently looking for enthusiastic, hard working individuals experienced in Fibreglass products to join the team at their Rotherham based client, who offer great opportunities and a life long career.As a GRP Laminator, you will be working within the manufacturing department, becoming an integral part of the team and this growing business.Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Performing a range of laminating processes
  • Working to a minimum laminating competency of 60% skilled against MS_Lam competencies
  • Identifying Laminating Defects
  • The use of hand tools
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment that are used are suitable, fit for purpose, and in date for any inspection required.
  • Basic housekeeping duties
  • Abiding by all Health and Safety procedures and policies
The working hours for this position are 0600am1400pm.Successful applicants will be:
  • Experienced in Composite Materials/techniques
  • Experienced in Wet lay up Materials/Techniques
  • Experienced in GRP Hand Lay up using different cloths
  • Experienced in using Polyester and epoxy resins
  • Proactive and able to demonstrate a good use of initiative
  • Willing to learn and develop
  • An excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills when interacting with colleagues, managers and customers
  • Work well to targets and deadlines
  • Conscious of Health and Safety policies
  • A team player!
