Job Description

Bring your career to where you are valued and supported in everything you do by joining the team at Kingswood House as a General Administrator.You will work 37.5 hours a week alongside a growing department, which will see you provide experienced and skilled administrative support.From diary management and arranging meetings, to preparing reports and liaising with third party enquiries, youll turn your hand to all administrative duties as required.You will support the Admin Department in maintaining a high standard of day to dayoperational service delivery, and support the organisation and co-ordination of staff in the Nursing Department.Youll be working at Kingswood House, which is a brand-new Mental Health and Learning Disabilities & Autism service which provides care and support to people with highly complex needs and behaviours.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake tasks requested that are commensurate with the post holderslevel of responsibility.
  • Comply with the guidelines laid down regarding confidentiality, disclosure of information andData Protection.To maintain as confidential at all times information relating to patients, staffand hospital business.
  • To cover Reception as and when required.
  • Participate in the Companys appraisal process.
  • Maintain mandatory and professional development requirements.
  • To attend meetings relevant to the department, and internal / external training events as andwhen required.
  • To take personal responsibility for ensuring the work practices and the environment meet therequirements of the Health and Safety at Work legislation and report all deficits tomanagement.
  • Undertake any other reasonable requests as made by your Line Manager.
  • To provide cover for colleagues within the department when they are absent and/or onannual leave.
  • To assist with enquiries from central and regional management and provide relevant information.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a similar setting
  • Experience of working within administration department
  • Experience of minute taking and handling of queries
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of working with systems to support the admin department
