Our supportive staff and modern facilities create an inspiring atmosphere for both educators and learners alike.Responsibilities: As the French Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students linguistic abilities and cultural awareness. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Teaching French: Delivering dynamic and engaging French language lessons to students of various levels, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.
  2. Curriculum Development: Collaborating with the Modern Foreign Languages department to design an innovative and relevant French curriculum that aligns with national standards.
  3. Student Progress Assessment: Assessing and monitoring students progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  4. Cultural Enrichment: Introducing students to the rich cultural heritage of French-speaking countries through immersive activities and resources.
  5. Extracurricular Involvement: Encouraging students participation in French-related clubs, language competitions, and cultural events to enhance their language skills and enthusiasm.
  6. Parent-Teacher Communication: Maintaining open and effective communication with parents or guardians, updating them on their childs progress and celebrating their achievements.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in French language or a related field (a postgraduate qualification is desirable).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Experience teaching French at Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, with a proven track record of fostering language proficiency.
  • A deep understanding of French culture and history, with the ability to incorporate cultural elements into language teaching.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French to engage students effectively.
