£25,593 (inc shift allowance), Rotherham Sheffield Boundary, Permanent position, Rotating AM & PM shifts, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, pension, free car parking, on site canteen facilities, uniform and premium paid overtime.Based within a state of the art modern manufacturing facility on the Sheffield Rotherham boundary our client is looking to add a Finishing Operative to join their team on a full time permanent basis.As a Finishing Operative you will be reporting into the Finishing Supervisor and will be responsible for working as part of a small close knit team in a prestige environment.Day to day duties will include:* Removing any defects from castings* Working with small hand tools* Using measuring equipment* De-burring* Fettling / finishing * GrindingAs a Finishing Ooerative will be required to:* Be Manually dexterous.* Possess a willingness to work overtime as and when required.* No experience required full training will be given for the appropriate applicant.* Positive and eager attitude towards work and learning new things* Have basic level mathematicsThis role would suit someone with experience of fettling, grinding, finishing, machine operating within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.This company prides themselves on excellent staff retention and are at the forefront of innovation within their field.
