Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a successful manufacturing group in Rotherham as they look to recruit a Financial Controller for one of their well established and specialist divisions that has a turnover of approximately£40-£50 Million per annum. With the flexibility of agile/ hybrid working, the role will be based out of their head office location in Rotherham with occasional monthly travel to the production facility in the south. This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive and ambitious senioraccountant to make the step up to Financial Controller and really add value to this successful and growing division. It will be a varied and visible role within the company; responsible for management accounts production, commercial and operational analysisas well as line management of a management accountant.Duties will include: - *Preparation and reporting of management information to drive the performance of the division *Preparation of the monthly management accounts with the assistance of a small team *Involvement in reporting to the parent company *Preparation of monthly commentary to facilitate understanding of results and to help drive business improvement*Ensure the accuracy and regular review of standard costing systems, including liaising with production colleagues*Preparation of annual budgets and interim forecasts for local and group management*Preparation of weekly flash forecasts to monitor business performance*Involvement in project & capital expenditure appraisals*Continuous review of procedures and implementation of improvements*Monitoring and hedging of currency exposures in line with company policies*Management of group cash pooling*Involvement in banking relationship & provision of information as required*Continuous review and improvement of data and procedures for the cashflow*Taking an active role in performance improvement initiatives and challenging status quoTo be successful, you will ideally have the following skills and experiences: - *Qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA) with at least 1-2 years post qualification experience*Experience working in a manufacturing environment (Highly desirable) *IFRS accounting (preferable)*Good Excel knowledge *Experience of using financial systems and making changes or improvements to processes *Experience in working for a multi-currency organisation *Supervisory experience *Good analytical skills*Team player and also able to work well on own initiative The company offers excellent benefits including: - *Competitive salary*Annual bonus scheme*25 days holiday + Stats *Company Pension Scheme *Hybrid working; Option to Work from Home (Up to 2 days per week)This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work with a successful and growing business in a role that can truly add value and provide new and valuable skills for any aspiring or current finance leader looking to progress their careers.
