Are you an ambitious, technically strong qualified Accountant who is Practice trained and looking for a first step out of practicePratap Partnership is working witha large company in Rotherhamwho are looking for a Financial Accountant. This exciting opportunity will have responsibility for assisting the statutory audit requirements, and the internal controls programme.The rolewillprovide technical accounting support and control to the Financial Accounting & Controls Manager, as well as commercial and finance teams.The JobSupport the requirements for the annual and interim statutory auditsDevelop and maintain analysis for audit purposesImplement systems and procedures to facilitate efficient collection of data required for auditPoint of contact in Division for all technical accounting and audit related mattersKeep up to date with IFRS requirements and implement within DivisionProduction of all IFRS information as required including writing technical accounting papersAttend regular meetings with the external reporting teamsConsolidation accountingMonitor and develop Internal control processes, reporting, and assessmentsSupport for Business Development on financial elements of bids as requiredContinually develop and improve the systems and procedures for the reporting teamThe PersonACA/ACCAqualified Accountant with experience of producing statutory accounts under IFRS.
