Job Description

Maintenance / Caretaker / Handy Person£10 - £11 per hourRotherham (S60)Temp - PermMonday - Friday 8am - 4pm with a 20 minute rest breakThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance / Caretaker / Handy Person to work for a global company with exceptional benefits when made permanent including 25 days holiday including stats, free car parking, gym facilities as well as a pension scheme andfree health care.We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance / Caretaker / Handy Person to work on a full time temporary basis, leading onto permanent for the right person. You will be working for a well established global company working within the metals industry, who employover 200 employees. The successful candidate will be working in a small team both indoors and outdoors carrying out general duties and maintenance when required.Within this role you will be reporting to the Facilities Co-ordinator and working as part of a small team of 3 completing general duties as required at the time.Day to day duties will include:

  • Painting using both spray painting equipment, rollers and brushes
  • Ground maintenance to roads and paths on site
  • Grass cutting and general gardening maintenance
  • Basic repairs to woodwork around site
  • Roof repairs
  • Basic plumbing repairs
Candidates will require to be flexible as duties will change at the needs of the company. Candidates will be required to work both indoors and outdoors as well as different weather conditions. Candidates will be required to carry out physical work and workingat heights such as ladders.
