Exams OfficerFull time (37hrs per week, all year round)Temporary for 1 yearSalary; £19,561 per annumLocation; Dearne Valley College, Rotherham The RoleThe Examinations Officer role is a key part of our Examinations team which sits within the Management Information Systems Unit. If you wish to be part of a team assisting learners to achieve their potential by providing academic departments and learners with key administrative services and advice, then this could be the perfect role as you’ll develop these skills, whilst working in a College that is committed to investing in staff development.The role is critical and you will contribute to the effective delivery of a high-quality examinations service, including the registration, collation and management of all examinations, assessments and certification. The role requires working closely with academic and support staff to ensure that an accurate and responsive service is provided.Through a proactive, enthusiastic and customer focused approach you will help the College achieve our mission to provide skills for the future of our students and community, through outstanding teaching and learning. Your work will ultimately lead to a high quality, robust and informative examinations and assessment service plus positive development of the College reputation.Have you got what it takesYou will have experience of working within an exams position, ideally within an FE setting. You should also have experience of mentoring, or supervising others. You will have strong knowledge of all common IT systems such as Microsoft Office and hold level 2 or above in English & maths.
