Also, if you are looking for your first role in food manufacturing, my client is more than happy at looking atEngineers with manufacturing experience outside of food.£36,000 per annum + Overtime (Lots available)4 on 4 off shift pattern (Days and nights)Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will take responsibility for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within this fast paced production environment. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will share responsibility for achieving budgetedmachine performance targets and ensuring the machines are kept running to peak performance within the manufacturing unitKey responsibilities;Daily plant inspections, monitoring plant performanceYou will need to facilitate a speedy response to all plant stoppages and plan/implement modifications to new and existing equipmentCarrying out fault finding diagnosis/repairs on equipment and plantYou will have to ensure the PPM schedules are maintained in accordance with the current requirementsContinuous Improvement - identify new methods and proceduresEnsure accurate & timely records are entered / recorded of all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares / consumables usedSuccessful Multi Skilled Engineers will be;Previous experience of working within a FMCG manufacturing environmentTime served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical Engineering HND / HNC / BTec / ONC / Level 3 qualifications or higherDegree / / Electrical Engineering17th Edition City & Guilds (Desirable)Excellent communication skillsWorking well under pressureWhy work hereGreat working culture, many examples of Engineers progressing within the business, Discounted Sweets!
