Dog Grooming Lecturer18.5 hours per week/52 weeks per yearPermanentSalary; £24,139-£27,940 per annum 1 FTE £12,069£13,970 Pro-rata (depending on experience and qualifications)Location: South YorkshireAbout the RoleDo you want lead the next generation of dog grooming professionalsThe role of lecturer is to equip our students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential. This role offers you the opportunity to do this every day. It is the jobsatisfaction that comes from this that makes a teaching role special.The key roles of a Lecturer are to deliver excellent teaching each year, completing the relevant preparation and marking that supports this, and to set SMART targets to enable students to reach their potential.You will

  • Hold a dog grooming qualification at level 3 or above, and a teaching qualification is desirable.
  • You will have the ability to deliver a quality teaching, learning and assessment experiences across a range of levels in Further Education.
Its essential that you have experience of teaching/training Dog Grooming and have vocational experience in the Further Education sector. You will need to be passionate and engaging with the ability to bring the subject matter to life and make ita positive experience with a wide variety of learners.Department InfoThe Animal Care Curriculum Area opened in September 2020 and offers courses from Level 1 to Level 6 in Animal Care and Animal Management. With a wide variety of animals housed in our modern facilities, now is a very exciting time to join our team!Your line manager will be the Curriculum Director and/or Curriculum Manager. You will regularly report on your objectives to update your Programme Leader / Curriculum Leader regarding a range of KPIs including (but not limited to) student recruitment,retention, anticipated achievement, attendance and punctuality.Our excellent benefits and rewards package:
