COVERING MULTIPLE SITES IN SHEFFIELD, ROTHERHAM, DONCASTER - EXPENSES PAID Are you ready for the next step in your Security CareerNow is your chance - we might just have the ideal opportunity for you!This is an opportunity to join a team of Security Officers, covering the Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster areas, with full training and a uniform provided.COVERING MULTIPLE SITES IN SHEFFIELD, ROTHERHAM, DONCASTER - EXPENSES PAID working average of 48 hours per week Here at Securitas, we guard and protect a variety of clients across the globe, these range from banks, retail chains, and leisure venues through to corporate offices. Our employees play an integral role in making people feel safe.Securitas is encouraging and empowering diversity & inclusion in the workplace and has been recognised with both UK SuperBrand and UK Top Employer awards for 2021/22.We are looking for a genuine team player who can work alongside a team and independently.Working at Front of House, predominately, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and staff, delivering the highest level of customer service.Working various, days & nights (including weekends & Bank Holidays)You will require your own vehicle to access client sites. Hourly pay rate - £10 - £11 per hour + ExpensesGuaranteed 40 hours per week.Who we are looking for:

  • You will play a vital security role in protecting our clients site, property and site assets whilst keeping both employees and visiting customers safe.
  • You will also be required to carry out foot patrols both internally and externally.
  • Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises.
  • Display an outstanding level of customer service.
  • You will always remain alert and vigilant to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening activity.
  • As a Security Officer, you will retain full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of another external agency.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed recording and reporting all faults, health and safety hazards.
Essential Skills The ideal candidate:
  • Right to work in the UK and have a five-yearcheckable employment history
  • SIA Licence (preferably)
  • Full driving licence and your own vehicle to get to and from sites.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus

  • Applicants must be flexible to work various shifts including weekends.
