Job Description

Contracts OfficerFull time (37hrs per week, all year round), PermanentSalary; £25,576 per annumLocation; Dearne Valley College, Rotherham (with travel) Are you ready to take your next step in your careerThis role will support the Contracts Manager in the management of all contracts and sub-contracts (internal and external). A key element of the role will involve issuing and the collation of apprenticeship paperwork in order for the Group to be compliantwith funding rules.The role will include a significant amount of data management and tracking learners/employers. Attention to detail, the ability to manipulate and understand complex data, flexibility and a proactive approach will be required and applications from individualswho wish to work in a challenging but rewarding environment are welcomed.The main challenge within the role will be developing effective and efficient methods of communication in such a large and diverse organisation. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be both tenacious and resilient to ensure we are compliantwith both internal and external policies and procedures.The ability to build good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be key to the success of this role. The role will require travel so the ability to drive and access to a car with business insurance is essential.This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and tenacious individual to make a real difference in improving processes and promote efficiencies.Have you got what it takes to be successfulYou will have previous experience in a high-level administration role, processing and managing complex data. This can be in any setting, however experience with audits and compliance is desirable. You may even have a good understanding of Further Education,specifically apprenticeship and funding rules.You will have a level 2 (or equivalent) in English and maths, and ideally you will hold a degree level qualification. Business administration, or customer service qualifications held will be advantageous.Our excellent benefits and rewards package:
