Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working exclusively with one of our key clients in Rotherham as they look to recruit a BI & Data Manager.Working on a Hybrid basis, the successful BI & Data Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 5 while also creating and overseeing effective high level approaches that solve data and analytical problems, and identifying trends and patterns that helpthe organisation meet its goals.Key Duties & Responsibilities:* Manage Business Intelligence Analysts and Data Analysts, ensuring they meet their goals and support the achievement of wider business goals. Facilitate their growth and development* Record all relevant MI project/ask information continuously to support the MI lead/line manager. This includes project scoping, commercials, development, change control, client/customer engagement, pre-delivery/QA, production, and post-production. Ensurethat audits have sufficient material for completion* Collaborate with the Head Of Risk to enhance an operational performance framework that balances the needs of long-term and agile deliverables. Ensure team compliance with the framework and keep stakeholders informed and engaged* Assist the Head of Risk in identifying areas of need and analysing data to inform strategic planning and improvement processes. Ensure the business unit performs at its best and remains customer-focused* Collaborate with the Head Of Risk and stakeholders to monitor deliverables continuously, prioritise as needed, and ensure stakeholders are fully informed throughout the process* Implement and maintain the relevant DevOps and CI/CD practices necessary to create sustainable reporting* Collaborate with Data Engineer to maintain optimal data standards to meet functional and non-functional business requirements* Work closely with Business Analyst to identify areas for continuous improvement in the business and drive quality assurance and effective data governance* Effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders, and translate raw data into actionable business and operational insights* Work in collaboration with wider Business Improvement colleagues (BIG and assorted Change Teams) to ensure that BI informs Continuous Improvement reviews and Improvement Programmes* Assist Head Of Risk with risk identification and control for data/operational processes. Ensure regulatory compliance with GDPR and implement relevant controls in the business unit* Lead innovation for the current data offering to maintain cutting-edge technology. Drive technical excellence within the business unit and team for continuous improvement and future contract tenders while balancing the needs of business as usual (BAU)* Conform to all points in Data Security Policy* Report to the Head Of Risk on the status of key projects on a periodic basisWe are keen to speak with BI Professionals who possess the following skills and experience:* Strong leadership/management experience * Power BI - development and upgrade existing dashboards* SSRS/SQL - ability to develop inside .rdl reports and troubleshooting code* Excellent written and visual presentation skillsTo find out more about this exciting opportunity contact us today!
