Job Description

ATM SurveyorRotherham, Salary: £28,500 per annum, 40 hours working week,Fixed Term Position for 12 MonthsWhat is this role of an ATM Surveyor Working as part of the Rotherham-based Surveying team you will be required to carry out detailed surveys at potential ATM Installation sites throughout the UK. Information, measurements/hand-drawn plans and photographs gathered from site will be collatedto effectively plan ATM installation schemes, CAD drawings and costs and facilitate the submission of Planning and Building Regulations applications.What will I be doing as the ATM Surveyor

  • Accurate Completion of Site Survey documents (filled out using Microsoft Excel directly on to the tablets).
  • Taking accurate site measurements and hand-drawing site plans, once drawings are completed a photo of the drawings will need to be taken and uploaded to one drive ready for processing by the CAD team.
  • Carry out basic checks on existing electrical installations to determine whether earth-bonding works, or further electrical surveys will be required.
  • CAT scanning of proposed working areas to check for underground/hidden services.
  • Gathering details of roller-shutter curtains, shop fronts and glazing etc.
  • Taking photographs to support written information and site drawings.
  • Liaising with Surveying, CAD, and Build Supervisor teams to ensure site information and requirementsare interpreted correctly and accurately.
  • Carry out pre-contract site meetings with clients and sales team representatives to discuss installation schemes, gather details for preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements etc.
  • Visit sites during and post installation to complete Quality and Health and Safety audits.
  • Complete Site Security Risk and Cash-in-Transit survey documents for Cardtronics Operational Risk Team.
  • When required/dictated by workload you may be deployed as part of a Build or Installation Team on ATM.
What Will I Need to Succeed as the ATM Surveyor
  • Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work away from home for periods of up to one week in length.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety Best Practice - CSCS accreditation desirable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current building and shop-fitting methods/materials associated with the installation of ATMs.
  • Ability to translate site proposals onto paper, i.e., take clear notes on site, produce accurate site plans etc.
  • Ability to use a CAT scanner, surveying and electrical testing equipment (training/guidance will be given).
  • IT Competency essential - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Databases etc.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written).
