The Rotherham NHS Foundation TrustRole - Advanced Clinical Practitioners (Qualified / Trainees) Division of MedicineSalary -Band 7/8A Subject to review Full Time / Part Time Hours (Minimum 30hrs per week)A unique opportunity has arisen to join the Division of Medicine as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Qualified or Trainee)We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, innovative, and driven qualified or trainee advanced clinical practitioners to the acute medical team from nursing or AHP background. We are passionate and driven to provide the best care for our patients across the Division of Medicine.We envisage that this role will support the acute medical take in both the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) as well as rotating across the specialities within the Division of Medicine. There will be opportunities to be involved in acute medical care across the acuity spectrum; we will support you to become a rounded clinician to pursue the 4 pillars of Advanced Practice (Clinical Practice, Education and Learning, Leadership and Research). For Trainee ACP’s, the appropriate amount of supernumerary/study time will be given to ensure your development as well as a providing you with a named clinical supervisor and a structured training plan. For Trainee ACP’s to progress to Qualified ACP’s a completed Msc and a portfolio that evidences competency will be essential. If you are a qualified ACP, we will ensure that you get enough non-clinical time to support your ongoing professional development, and to continue to reach all four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice. An experienced team of Acute Medicine Consultants, the Acute Medicine Nurse Consultant, Acute Medicine ACP’s, a trust ACP community of practice, and the Trust Lead ACP will support you with your development.We will ensure that our future ACPs have requisite training, supervision, and mentorship to release their potential. We will develop cohorts to facilitate integrated training opportunities enabling you to share your learning with ACPs working within other specialities.We welcome applications from candidates who require flexible working arrangements and will always aim to offer flexible working where possible.
