Administration Assistant - CommunityFull time (37hrs per week, all year round)PermanentSalary; £18,008 per annumLocation; Rotherham and Dearne Valley Colleges, RotherhamAre you looking for an opportunity to kickstart your careerThe Administration Assistant is a key part of the Colleges Administration Team, working within a team that supports both learners and staff throughout the academic year. This role is extremely important in assisting the Community team to achieve its goalswhich link into the Colleges mission.You will be committed to providing an excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. You use your excellent organisational skills to assist in the coordination of a range of other activities throughout the academic year such as AwardsEvening and Community events.Through a proactive, enthusiastic and customer focused approach you will help the College achieve our mission to provide skills for the future of our students and community, through outstanding teaching and learning. Your work will ultimately lead to increasednumber enrolments, highly accurate data plus positive development of the College reputation.Have you got what it takes to be successfulYou will have recent experience working in an administration or customer service role within an educational establishment or similar. You will be able to work in an organised and methodical manner, with a good knowledge of IT Microsoft packages. You willhold excellent communication skills and good team working skills.The successful applicant must hold or be willing to work towards the following qualifications:

  • Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy
  • Level 2 Business Administration or Customer Service
