Job Description

Machine Operative (Unit 3)Location: HaslingdenJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeWorking Hours: 38.5 hours per week - Continental Shift PatternSalary: £10.50ph to £11ph dependant on experienceIf you enjoy working as a Machine/Production Operative or would like to embark on a new challenge and want a career with a well established reputable company with great benefits, this is the role for you . .Heres What You Can Expect To Be Doing:As a Production Operative you will play a pivotal role in creating high quality products for our customers. You will be:

  • Setting and operating machines, working on a production line
  • Regularly checking machines during operation to ensure the highest quality of product is produced
  • Labelling and packing items ready for dispatch
  • Conducting quality checks of the product
  • Meeting production targets
  • Completing production paperwork
  • Completing daily checks
  • Follow Safe Working Practices
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations
A Few Things About You:You must be a team player, be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and self-discipline to get the work done as you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers.You will also have a great eye for detail as Quality is very important to us.You must also be comfortable working flexible hours on a continental shift pattern, working days, nights, and weekends. This role requires standing for long periods.Your Experience Will Include:
  • Having previously worked as a production operative in manufacturing (Desirable) or;
  • Having previously worked in a practical manual role
  • You will have experience of working shifts
When Youll Be Working:You will be working the 24/7 Rota, which is a rotating 4-week pattern, working rotating days and nights, hours from 07:00/19:00 to 19:00/07:00.You will be working 12 hour shifts (stood up).It is an average 38.5 hour working week.Who We Are:Flexipol is in its 28th year, and during this time the business has grown steadily each year, providing long term secure employment.The company is BRC certificated and is an approved food packaging supplier to key manufacturers in the UK and internationally, such as those in the Marks and Spencer supply chain.The Company prides itself on its innovative approach to product design and manufacturing, along with an excellent reputation for high-quality customer service.We believe that our success is due to our unique blend of technical collaboration, innovation and extraordinary service and most importantly, the skills, team work and dedication of our employees.Why Work For Us:
