Job Description

Are you a Senior Accountant who feels they have gone as far as they can in their current companyFancy an opportunity to be a manager and potentially become a partnerWell this is the opportunity for you........We are currently working with a well respected accountancy practice based near Romford who are currently looking to hire an experienced Accountant for a general practice manager position, this position offer the opportunity to become a partner within the company.The directors are highly driven with making this practice the best it can be, but due to the pressure of building this practice we have fallen behind in some areas especially technology, therefore we are looking for someone who has a keen interest in increasing efficient ways of working.Your duties within this role will be:

  • Preparation of year end accounts, financial statements and tax computations for clients
  • Providing strategic consultancy and financial management services
  • Supervise a team of Accountants on the portfolio of all clients.
  • Manage the Tax, VAT and payroll departments to ensure time frames and HMRC deadlines are being adhered too, along with the personal management of the relevant members of staff.
  • Manage and develop the practices use of Social Media for advertising and new client development.
    • To be considered for this role you will need:
  • To be ACCA/CTA OR ACA qualified
  • To have at least 6 years of Accountancy practice experience
